Week 2- Memory and our Text

Memories always play a big part in who we are as a person and might affect a lot of decisions that we take during our lives. Some memories which are important  in our life we remember  while some get stored somewhere back in our minds which we realize when similar incidents of that memory might occur or some object might trigger it.

The city of water, called Esmeralda has an innumerable network of canals and routes so complex that when people have to travel to the same place they think that they have taken a different route every single day. This however is because the people in Esmeralda don’t have the short term memory part of their brains developed. As a result they are unable to hold information for a very short duration of time and so whenever they travel they can never remember which route they have taken and thus think that they take different routes every single day.
