Curatorial Note

From this project I learned that not everything that we read is literal. A simple word can have a thousand meanings. Everything is a metaphor. And everything that one visualises is not what we see but what one understands. It taught me how to break a simple passage into a hundred visuals and come up with a narrative of my own. It helped me with my craftsmanship of using a blade and paper cutting.

Poem on Zobiede

Am I in Zobiede now?
Am I with her again?
I could look for her
But I won’t find her
Apart for in my memories
I wish she finds me
But I almost believe she doesn’t exist
Have I become delusional?
Is that what I’ve become now?
Am I in Zobiede now?
Am I with her again?
Oh god, this frustration
Between parallel realities
I almost feel like I’m living an inception
Of someone
Else
Am I in Zobiede now?
Am I with her again?
Will I ever know the truth?
